The Shell Eco-marathon challenges high school and college student teams from around the world to design, build and test energy efficient vehicles. With annual events in the Americas, Europe and Asia, the winners are the teams that go the farthest distance using the least amount of energy.
Malaysia became the first Asian country to host the event. Malaysia will host the Asian edition for 3 consecutive years from 2010 in Sepang International Circuit; thereafter it will be brought to another Asian country for the subsequent 3 years.
This Year, 2012 it’s the last year for Malaysia to host the event in Sepang International Circuit. When?
On 4 July 2012 to 7 July 2012.
